The movie “Basira In London” was officially premiered on the 24th March, 2017 in Nigeria, starring Eniola Badmus as the lead character.
Basira in London is a comedy about an African woman who travels to London on holiday. Upon meeting with her friends, she decides she wants to stay and gain employment. However, she is shocked at the type of job they find for her and her attempts at getting a British passport and trying to fit in with the ‘in crowd’ results in hilarious consequences.
The casts of the movie are Jason Adedeji-Abraham, Destinee Anthony, Tolu Yesufu, and Theodora Ibekwe-Oyebade, and was produced and directed by Philippa Chiedu Abraham, who was in the movie.

Basira in London is currently showing in cinemas all over Nigeria like Lighthouse Cinema, Kada Cinemas, Filmhouse Cinemas, Genesis Cinemas, Viva Cinemas, Ozone Cinemas and Silverbird Cinemas.

The movie was first premiered in the United Kingdom in August, 2015 to a sold out crowd in all of its six showings at the Odeon Cinemas.
