Winning the maiden edition of the West African Idols launched Timi into the limelight but since then he has been unusually silent until very recently when the Port-Harcourt-born singer erupted into a flurry of activities.

However, just this week we got a confirmed leak from his camp that Timi might have split from yet another management deal, this time though, for inexplicable reasons, its with the management that has done him the most good.

We're not sure what led to the break-up between Timi and Saphhires & Rubies Management, but rumours however indicate that it has to do with Timi's insistence that he wasnt being done enough for, and that he might have even been defrauded. One thing is certain however, the management let Timi go, not the other way round.
