Bayern Munich had a point to prove in the match, coming off a surprising exit from the German Cup against third-tier side Saarbrucken. The pressure was on, and Kane rose to the occasion again in the second half. He added to his tally with two more goals, securing a hat-trick. Kane’s second goal was a shot into the bottom left corner in the 72nd minute. He then completed his hat-trick with another fine finish in injury time. With these goals, Kane became the first player in Bundesliga history to score 15 goals in the opening ten matches of the season.

Accepting the Bundesliga player of the season award, Bellingham said; “Every year or half-year that I’ve played at the club, my responsibility in the team has increased. I have to continue to be everywhere on the pitch and try my best to contribute going forwards and backwards and try and control games, try to dominate the midfield. “My team-mates, the coaches and the staff have helped me to develop. I came to the club as a talented lad, but I have added elements to my game that have taken it to the next level and I think that’s down to them, mainly.”
