Popular rapper, Erhiga Agarivbie a.k.a Erigga reveals he intends to use juju to win a Headies Award even though he wasn’t nominated in the 2023. The musician had earlier gone online to call out the Award organizers for snubbing him each year despite his numerous record albums.

He shared photos of two comic actors who always act as native doctors in skits and revealed that would be how he’ll turn up and secure the Best Rap Album award. Renowned Nollywood actor and movie producer, Ibrahim Chatta, has finally addressed the issue of being snubbed at the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA). In an interview with an Ibadan radio station, Chatta expressed his disappointment at not receiving an invitation to the prestigious award ceremony.

However, he also acknowledged that there are numerous actors in the industry who are more deserving of recognition than he is. Despite this realization, Chatta couldn’t help but wonder why his junior colleagues were receiving invitations while he was left out. Nevertheless, Ibrahim Chatta maintained that he doesn’t allow the snub to affect him too deeply. His primary focus remains on pursuing his craft and reaching greater heights. In his words; “I always thought my work wasn’t good enough, but I see my younger colleagues who score an invite to the event. I don’t want any award to limit me because I am aiming for the Oscars. If I am focusing on not being nominated at AMVCA, I can lose focus.” As news of Ibrahim Chatta’s aspirations for the Oscars spreads, fans and industry insiders have expressed their support and admiration for his bold ambition.   See below;

Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele a.k.a Jenifa, has been nominated as one of the potential running mates to the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship candidate, Alhaji Abdulaziz Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor.
The actress’ name followed among the six shortlisted names by the Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Other shortlisted names include the former governorship aspirant, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour; former Senatorial candidate for Lagos East, Yeye Shobajo, another governorship aspirant, David Kolawole Vaughan a.k.a DAKOVA, and Engr. Teslim Balogun.
Actress Funke’s political inclusion follows that of her colleague, Tonto Dikeh, who was selected as her party’s 2023 Deputy Governorship candidate in Rivers State earlier last week.
